WE NEED YOUR HELP WITH OUR HISTORY THEMED ROCK SNAKE

The Chelmsford Civic Society has a great activity planned with the support of Chelmsford City Culture and the Chelmsford Garden Community Council.
My name is slinky the Rock Snake
I need a tail to enable me to wake
You will need to paint a rock or stone
With a history theme make it your own
To put in Boleyn Gardens to partake
Schools, nurseries and individuals (in fact any ages can get involved) are needed to help us make a history themed ROCK SNAKE for display in September 2024 as a part of Heritage Open Days.
All you need to do is paint a rock with waterproof paint with a history related picture and then add it to the snake in Boleyn Gardens in Beaulieu Park between 6tyh and 15th September.
We are also holding two painting sessions on Sunday 8th and Sunday 15th September 2024 as part of the festival!
