As from 9th October 2023, Essex County Council has launched a public consultation on the booking process at Recycling Centres. The proposal is to retain a booking process permanently for all vehicles visiting all Essex County Council recycling centres. Bookings for all vehicles have been in place as a trial since March 2023. Essex County Council asserts that the interim evaluation shows the booking process has been working well.
However, Essex County Council now wants to know what Essex residents think of the proposal to keep the booking process in place.
