Suzanne has found the role of the Executive Officer for the Chelmsford Garden Community Council an exciting opportunity to assist the new Council establish itself and in supporting this new and growing community.
Suzanne used to be a Solicitor but after the birth of her daughter started working in the public sector and for eleven years, prior to joining this Council, she was the Clerk for Great Notley Parish Council near Braintree and also for 7 years was also the Clerk for Little Waltham Parish Council.
As well as being fully engaged in a variety of projects with those Councils she is also the Chairman of the Essex branch of the Society of Local Council Clerks in Essex. She reached the longlist of the Clerk of the year award with reference to a community project and is enthusiastic about engaging with residents and collaborative working with Councillors to support community cohesion.
