The South Essex Parking Partnership has launched a consultation regarding the proposed introduction of parking restrictions in the Channels area of the Parish which will remain open for responses until 27th September 2024.
The aim is to protect the area from potential overspill parking as a result of the opening of the new Railway station next year. The Parking Partnership is keen to hear the views of the residents of Channels in relation to the proposals in order for them to introduce a scheme that is acceptable to residents.
Please note that once the roads have been formally adopted, any such scheme will override the private arrangements to restrict parking that were brought into effect by the Channels (Chelmsford) Management Company.
Residents in the effected area will have received a letter with a unique code to enable them to log on and make their views known.

This Council urges all of those residents to make sure they have their say in this process and fill in the survey.
