Julie is the Community Engagement Manager for the Council and is thus involved in events and strengthening communication with the Community and Stakeholders.
Julie says:
‘A resident of Chelmsford and the surrounding areas for the majority of my adult life, I have a keen interest in it’s future and I am excited to start in the new role of Community Engagement Manager for the Chelmsford Garden Community Council.
I have three sons who attended Chelmsford Schools but have now flown the nest. I enjoy spending time with them and enjoying our shared love of food and finding new exciting restaurants. I also love to swim, walk and travelling to health retreats somewhere hot!
I have spent my career working for many large retailers such as Laura Ashley, Marks and Spencer, Boots and Cancer Research. I am keen to bring my experience in Events and Communication to this role and look forward to supporting the residents through the Chelmsford Garden Community Council.
