Mid Essex Recovery College

Mid Essex Recovery College have a new Autumn Timetable

The College runs free courses and workshops and provides a safe space for people to learn new skills, expand on existing ones, and attend courses developed to support mental health recovery. Co-production is a core feature of recovery college ethos; our courses are all co-produced by experts by experience, individuals with lived experience of mental health, as well as individuals with professional experience of working for mental health services.

Courses are available to anyone within the Mid Essex area who have experienced or are experiencing mental health challenges themselves, who are supporting another person with their mental health challenges or who want to learn more about the topics covered. We have workshops covering a range of subjects from Wellbeing, Anxiety and Employment to Filmmaking and Mindfulness.

We are always interested to know if there are areas or subjects that you would like to see the College deliver courses on or venues that you think we could deliver from. If you have any suggestions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

All our courses are published on our website

www.midessexrecoverycollege.co.uk

We do require students to register with the College before attending courses and this can be done by either accessing the registration form link in the timetable online or emailing the College on provide.midessexrc@nhs.net with details of the courses they would like to attend, and we will then send out the registration link. This helps us to ensure that we can effectively support them and their wellbeing whilst with the College.

Students who have already registered with the College can book courses via the website, contact us by email or phone.

All students are offered the opportunity to complete an Individual Learning Plan (ILP) with a member of the College team which can help to identify learning goals, reflect on progress and explore support for the student’s recovery journey.
