Currently your postal address is derived in part by the parish area you currently sit in. For example some residents living on the Channels development fall under Broomfield whilst some fall under Little Waltham and these names form part of the address.
From 1st April, everyone that falls within the new Chelmsford Garden Community parish will have the following postal address:

The City Council has confirmed that their records have been updated to reflect the above change and confirmation is awaited that Royal Mail have done the same.
