The Council has received an update from Essex County Council regarding works to be carried out at the Park Farm area of Bulls Lodge Quarry. The location can be found on the site location plan below
The Council has been advised that fencing works and scrub clearance required for the compound are planned (under the supervision of an ecologist) for the week commencing 24 July 2023. Topsoil stripping of the compound is planned for the week commencing 21st August 2023. Following these works and after the crop has been removed from Phase 1 of the Park Farm extraction area, soil stripping will start in Phase 1 to allow archaeological investigations to take place.
