Bridleway 18 runs from the Pegasus Crossing of Essex Regiment Way into the development and is one of the main entry points for pedestrians and cyclists into the area.
Essex County Council has made arrangements for the surface of the Bridleway to be upgraded and the work is due to start imminently. The plan and the legal notice document can be viewed below.
The width of the Bridleway is due to be set at 3.5 metres and will be bound with 25mm light buff rolled gravel.
Expect some closures and disruptions as from 8th April 2024 whilst this work is carried out but hopefully the Bridleway will then be easier to use moving forward with less muddy puddles!
